The World Congress for Endoscopic Surgery of the Skull Base and Brain is the first global conference to be welcomed by an Asian country

The event, happening between 10 – 13 June 2020, marks an important turning point, as it is expected to deliver RM 8.7 million to the economy.

More than 900 delegates worldwide are expected to attend the congress hosted by the Shangri-la Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The event is the result of the management efforts invested by Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons.

WCESSBB is anticipated to strengthen Malaysia’s position as one of the countries that actively contributes to medical research, while developing related, internationally-recognized businesses.

The congress is seen as a huge opportunity for medical professionals to interact and exchange experiences, as well as for the latest medical trends and technologies to emerge.

During 2016 only, the medical sector in Malaysia has welcomed a record number of 10.532 health professionals to the country. After the much anticipated World Congress for Endoscopic Surgery of the Skull Base and Brain, the figures are expected to significantly grow, as the country aims to become a creative medical-hub by the end of 2020.
