It seems kind of impossible to choose the perfect destination or best beach in Europe. But why is that? Because only thinking of the word beach seems like perfection in the stressful work days. But even if it is a difficult task we made our pick on several perfect beaches for the curious tourist within.
Nice, French Riviera – France: contrary to public belief we can find a good amount of lovely public beaches which we can explore, although most of the beaches are owned by hotels and resorts. The beaches are covered in pebbles and no sand, so you do not need to worry about getting sand in your shoes.
Santorini – Greece: this island is famous because of its unique Red Beach near Akrotiri. Greece has over 3000 islands, but you can recongize Santorini very easily with its specific white and blue contrast. When it comes to Greece we feel obliged to also mention: Creta, Corfu and Mykonos as must visits on the bucket list.
Tenerife – Spain: part of the canary islands with calm, clear waters and an almost constant wind making it quite the windsurfer’s dream. It has brilliant beaches where you can snorkel, sunbathe and swim.
Lagos, Algarve – Portugal: in Portugal, Algarve region we can find several perfect dreamy beaches, not just one. We picked Lagos, a quiet beach with breathtaking landscapes and clear blue water, known also for its unique colour.
Monterosso Al Mare, Cinque Terre – Italy: with crystalline water, small hotels and a lot of restaurants for its small region, Cinque Terre is for sure one of the most popular and stunning beaches that Italy has to offer. Monterosso is also the only area where you can find a sandy beach in Cinque Terre.
Brighton – England: is one of the first sea-sides in Europe, it is cosy although it is covered in pebbles and not sand. Brighton is also known for carnivals and music festivals.
The selection above is made for every taste, even if you are the romantic type or more of a culture and history tourist you can choose one of this beaches we picked up for presentation in order to sooth your thirst for leisure.
